This is the webcomic I'm working on for The Webcomic Factory, called 'Dealers'.

"A long time project of Christian Beranek and Tony DiGerolamo that is completely scripted and will end. It’s one big story arc that will take you through a time in the late 90′s when toys were king."

I'M OPEN FOR COMMISSIONS.

TO HAVE AN IDEA OF WHAT YOU CAN GET, PLEASE TAKE ALSO A LOOK AT MY GALLERY.

I can do comic characters of your choice, movie/TV characters made in my style or even drawings of your own photos, if you want that I draw yourselves or your friends or even your pets. Just ask.

ARTWORKS:

SKETCH CARDS:
Full Color (or Grey Tones) Sketch Card: $25
Only Penciled or Only Inked Sketch Card: $20
"Flat Color Card" series Sketch Card (see examples below): $20

-SHIPPING COSTS:
Shipping costs depend on where you live, and will be defined after a visit to the post office with your address.
The Shipping costs for the Sketch Cards, are listed below:
Europe: Free
America, Asia, Africa: $2,50
Other: $3,00

-PAYMENT:
Payment must be done through PayPal only.
To make things as fair as possibile, you can pay half at the start of your commissions and the other half at completed work (option not available for the Sketch Card commissions).

-NOTES:
The original artworks can be sent right to your home, or I can just send the original size image file right to your E-Mail address, that's completely up to you.

Due to my work as a comic artist, and all the other drawings I have to do, it's possible that you will have to wait one or two weeks before I find the time to finish them. But don't worry, I will try to make them as soon as I can.

If you order a sketch card it will not be shipped inside any kind of vinyl sleeve or anything else.

Every other artwork, different from Sketch Cards, will be shipped in a mailing tube.

Once you have the original drawing (real of file) note that it doesn't mean that you own the copyrights, and you will not have any permission to sell prints of it or use it on other sites. The intellectual properties will be of the artist, in this case me. If you want to post it here on deviantART or somewhere else on the Internet, you can do it, but you'll have to specify that I am the creator of the artwork.

Do you know if there is any difference between the American comics you can buy in the UK and the USA ones??? For example, a first print of 'Blablabla' bought in the USA is the same as the one bought in UK? Are they printed in the US too???

weilà, Al!

Nulla di che, solo che finalmente dA ha messo a disposizione l'opzione per modificare il proprio username (solo i possessori di una subscription possono).

Io lo aspettavo da un botto, perchè quando mi sono iscritto a dA, non ero ancora un professionista, quindi non avevo preso la cosa nell'ottica giusta, e ho messo il primo username che avevo in mente. Io l'ho cambiato con il mio vero nome, appunto perchè è più professionale, e penso sia più facile che la mia pagina venga trovata sui motori di ricerca, digitando il mio nome.

E credo che la maggior parte della gente nel mio deviantWatch ha fatto la stessa scelta, dato che quasi tutti quelli che hanno cambiato lo username, hanno messo il loro nome di battesimo.

Tutto qui!

Allora mi sa che io non posso aggiornare, dato che non ho mai fatto nessun abbonamento qui.
Hai ragione però, è sempre meglio iscriversi con il proprio nome, molto più professionale.

Io x adesso sono impegnato a mettere su un corso di Fumetti, dato che mi hanno approvato il progetto in un ente di formazione con contributi europei. Insomma una bella cosa, specie in periodi di sopravvivenza come questo.
Riesco anche a far lavorare un paio di collaboratori e la cosa raddoppia la mia soddisfazione.
Credimi se ti dico che se fossi stato in zona, ti avrei di certo coinvolto nella docenza di qualche materia.

Oltre questo, sto portando avanti tanti progetti di belle speranze, nel senso che mi sono preso un po di tempo x confezionare i famosi progetti da inviare in giro x il mondo alla ricerca di un editore illuminato con cui collaborare a qualcosa di personale. I fumettacci usa e getta da edicola, fino ad ora mi hanno riservato solo tanto stress, causato da tutti sti "editori" campati un po in aria. I soldi sono vitali, ma il rapporto qualità offerta e cifra incassata non è paragonabile.
Poi vari lavori di illustrazione e pubblicità, come fai un po tu con i calendari, etc.
Insomma, siamo sempre alla ricerca dei colpacci! Ogni tanto si piazza qualcosa di massiccio, ma poi purtroppo non c'è continuità e si ricomincia a cercare.

Ah, giusto! Avevo letto la notizia nel tuo ultimo Journal. Beh, gran cosa, congratulazioni. Se è vero che entrare a lavorare nel mondo del fumetto è difficile, è anche vero che però c'è veramente TANTA gente che aspira a diventare fumettista, quindi una scuola o corso, ecc non può che essere una buona idea. E cazzarola, ovviamente se avessi abitato da quelle parti, non avrei esitato nemmeno un secondo per avere la possibilità di entrare a far parte dei docenti. Comunque, grazie mille anche solamente per il pensiero.

E in bocca al lupo! Son sicuro che andrà benissimo.

Ciò che dici lo conosco alla perfezione. Heh.. da un lato mi rincuora sapere che non sono il solo ad avere sti problemi.. dall'altro.. beh, spero che cose finalmente comincino a sorriderci.
E' la cosa della continuità, come tu hai citato, che più mi spaventa. Non riesco a capacitarmi di come fare per farmi dei progetti, economicamente parlando, se io prima di tutti non so se dopo un qualsivoglia lavoro, troverò altro per permettermi di continuare a mantenerli.. bah. 'Perseveranza' è la parola chiave, giusto?

Lamentele a parte (come al solito, ahha) attualmente sono ancora dietro al webcomic che mi porto avanti dal 2010, 'Dealers' (che oltre alla storia in sè, racconta anche quasi la genesi del mio stile di disegno, haha! Nel senso che in questo due anni sono migliorato, e la differenza si vede. Peccato però perchè essendo io un perfettino, avrei voluto realizzare questo fumetto nel migliore dei modi, dato che la storia che racconta è davvero bella, divertente e ben scritta). Poi ultimamente ho lavorato a qualche breve webcomic, ed ora sto facendo disegni preparatori di personaggi/locations per un fumetto alquanto ambizioso, con uno dei miei scrittori di Dealers, di cui non posso parlare, però punta parecchio in alto, al punto di avere la possibilità di essere trasposto in un film hollywoodiano ad alto budget in futuro (se ci giochiamo bene le nostre carte).
